Find Freight by viewing our available loads. On the detailed page, enter your bid amount. Select Next to communicate your Pickup and Dropoff Schedule, Payment Terms, Bid Duration and any Notes that are important to the quote. Click Submit Bid to send this quote to the shipper for review.
Comments made before submitting a bid are public and visible to both customers and competitors. After submitting a bid, you may make a private comment to the customer.
Trucking companies and Brokers should enter a "Bid Is Valid Until" date if their truck availability is limited, ensuring the bid is withdrawn after this date. They should also specify the number of days they will pick up and deliver after booking.
No, contact information is strictly prohibited until a carrier is selected by the shipper. Notes should only contain general information about the load without including any pricing or identifying details.
Carrier notes should include any conditions that may impact the validity of a quote, such as the accuracy of provided dimensions and weight. They should also mention any extra charges for services like loading and unloading if these are not covered in the quote. Additionally, any processing or payment processing fees should be noted, especially since many Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) may have payment methods that incur additional fees.

Yes, You can make multiple bids in a single load, when you submit a new bid, the old one is NOT OVERWRITTEN, so if you forgot a digit or miscalculated, you will need to go in and delete the old bid or it may accidentally be accepted. Multiple bids can help you if you have two different forms of service you can provide (such as a power only option and hauled/flatbed option.
If a misquote occurs, it is advisable to quickly rectify it by deleting the incorrect bid, as it could be accidentally accepted and negatively affect the user's rating. Multiple bids can be made if the service type varies.
After a shipper has chosen your bid, you will receive an email introducing the Shipper and Carrier. Contact information is also shared when you are logged into your VeriTread account.
When logged into your VeriTread account, simply click Update Status on the load you wish to update. This sends communication to the shipper to keep them updated on the delivery process.
Carriers should immediately inform VeriTread about any issues such as lost loads, truck breakdowns, or delays, ideally keeping VeriTread in the CC of all email communications regarding the load.
